Meet the CEO/President/Founder

Michael J. Curry is the President/CEO/Founder of PARATUSEC LLC. Mike has led PARATUSEC since its founding in 2007 to an emerging, small, and successful business. He has strategically positioned the company for continued growth, establishing a reputation for quality services and delivering as promised.
Prior to founding PARATUSEC, Mike spent 20 years in the U.S. Army. During his career in the Army, he held various positions in both Command and Staff. Throughout his military career, Mike served at home and overseas contingency operations in positions that included: Training & Education; Operations & Intel; Logistics and Supply Chain Management; Strategic Plans & Operations; and Senior Advisory and Security Assistance to US Federal, Diplomatic, and State leadership teams.
Briefly following his military retirement in 2007, Mike served as a Senior Principal Consultant for a multi-billion dollar global IT services firm providing services to activities around the globe.
Mike has a BS in Business from Norwich University; MAS in Operations & Planning from the U.S School of Advanced Military Studies; MS in Business from the University of Maryland-University College; and is a graduate of the Tuck School of Business Executive Education at Dartmouth.
Mike is also a graduate of the Defense Institute for Security Assistance Management, Home Land Security Defense Support to Civil Authorities Program, and the National Veterans Institute of Procurement.
In 2006 Mike was nominated by faculty at the University of Maryland - Graduate School of Management and Technology into the academic honor society of Phi Kappa Phi. Phi Kappa Phi is the oldest and most highly selective all-discipline honor societies in the U.S..
As a strong supporter of Veteran Employment, 85% of PARATUSEC's employees are veterans of military service.
Mike is married and the proud father of five children the youngest of which is nine. A brief stint as a college athlete, he stays active and enjoys running, and the rare round of golf. Also an avid fisherman with time permitting he likes fishing for striped bass.
